Protect Association Newsletter – Nov 2023

Hi folks, I hope you and yours are all keeping well and warm, as winter descends on us all. I thought I would get my annual message out before the Christmas season’s madness. 

First, thanks to all our brilliant Protect Association members, individuals, and companies. Your support and your membership fees keep us afloat. 

Not a bad effort, considering our inaugural meeting was held on the 9^th Sept, 1999. 

If any of the Panacea community, wish to help the cause and join as paying members, please contact me. 

The annual fees remain at £175 for individual membership, and £455 for a company. 

I would also thank those companies that have supported and sponsored our events this year. 

Worksmart Ltd, for sponsoring and hosting an event for us on the 19th May this year. 

Another Davies Group company, formerly known as Grovelands, sponsored our St Neots golf event, and Amtrust International, who sponsored the golf day at Aldwickbury Park, Amtrust International are also going to sponsor a Charity golf event at Essendon, Herts next year on 2^nd July. 

This has just been booked provisionally. We are looking to make this a Charity event, where companies, or individuals can buy a 4-ball team for £200. We will have 36 players in total and the best teams win the prizes. In addition to the golf there will be arrival refreshments and a 2- course meal and prize giving after the golf. There will be a raffle, and other opportunities to give money to charities. 

This is fantastic value thanks to Amtrust’s sponsorship. 

If you or your company would like to be part of this event or any other events next year. Please do let me know, especially if you have meeting rooms that could hold an event, or speakers that would add value to our members. 

The subject doesn’t have to be on regulation and compliance, there are plenty of other challenges and topics facing our sector. It would be great to get back to networking and in person events next year. Let’s make it happen!
